What Data We Collect📊

Prompts, conversations, or notes you explicitly input or send while using supported AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity)
Contextual metadata such as the domain and URL of the active tab
User authentication tokens (authToken, userName, uid) if you log in or use sync features

How We Use Your Data👀

We do not use your data for analytics, tracking, advertising, or profiling. We do not sell or rent your data to any third party.

Store and retrieve your personal memory from AI interactions
Allow you to browse, search, and reuse past thoughts in the side panel interface
Inject your context into supported AI tools to improve output relevance

Where Your Data Is Stored🔒

By default, your data is stored locally in Chrome using the storage.local API
If you sign in, data may be securely synced to our server hosted at memory.oizom.com to support cross-device memory access

Data Sharing🤝

We do not share your data with any third parties except:

To enable the core features of the extension
To comply with applicable laws and regulations
To prevent abuse, fraud, or technical issues
As part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, with prior notice and user consent

Your Controls🛡️

You may uninstall the extension at any time to stop all data collection
You may request deletion of any synced data by contacting us at info@getbuddi.ai
The extension only stores what you explicitly choose to share with it
